We’re looking for a motivated, creative, innovative, & organized individual to undertake the creation & editing of video created by our organization for use on the web. You'll be responsible for creating content, editing and correlating the footage into digestible pieces for delivery to our membership, donors, and the general public.
If you're interested in helping to tell the stories of our efforts and those of organizations in need, communicating a great cause in the digital realm, helping to inform and educate the public about causes they care about, and changing lives in the process; then you’re the perfect person for us!
You’ll need to have a good understanding of the various camera systems, an editing platform, whether it be Final Cut, Avid, or another platform, an understanding of the idea of telling a story concisely though short form video, a good visual aesthetic, and your own computer to work on. Video capture equipment may be provided if necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Creation & editing of video for web delivery
- Independently developing story line and ideas around the interviews and/or events
- Coordinate with PR, social media, organization, and newsletter volunteers to create content, streamline distribution, and post content online
